A member of the San Francisco volcanic field, S.P. is a textbook example of a well-preserved cindercone. With its talus slopes, S.P. was fun to climb, but even more fun to "ski" down! Who thought agglutinated splatter could be interesting? Just for fun, the S.P. stands for shit pot; the "discoverers" thought it resembled a latrine.
