I made camp at Eagle Roost in the late afternoon. When I got there I was glad I had made a reservation a head of time instead of leaving it to chance—my site was the last one remaining. (Take note of the tree to the left of the tent.)

Although perched atop a forested cliff face, this was all the (no less) dramatic view. The setting sun silhouetted the surrounding forest nicely.
