The lowest elevation glacier in the western hemisphere, Carbon Glacier actually derives its name from local coal deposits, not it's sediment-covered surface. The Carbon River can seen in a classic underfit meander pattern. The aforementioned Crescent Mountain can be seen rising above the toe of the glacier.
